The body of another young black man has been found at the West Hollywood apartment of Ed Buck — a prominent Democratic donor who allegedly has a fetish for drugging sex workers — reports Wehoville.

Buck, a white man in his 60s, was investigated previously by authorities after the death of Gemmel Moore, who died of a methamphetamine overdose in Buck’s home in July 2017. Since Moore’s death was classified as an accidental overdose, numerous young black gay men have alleged that Buck has a fetish for shooting drugs into black men he picks up off the street or on hookup sites. Moore had written about Buck injecting him with dangerous drugs before his death.

“I’ve become addicted to drugs and the worst one at that,” Moore wrote in his journal in December 2016. “Ed Buck is the one to thank. He gave me my first injection of crystal meth.”

Buck claims he’s not responsible for Moore’s death and did not furnish him with drugs. The Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to file charges against Buck, saying there was “insufficient evidence.”

The name of the person who died in Buck’s home in the early hours of Monday has not been released. Wehoville described him as a young African-American man and featured a picture of a body being removed on a gurney.

Community activists like Jasmyne Cannick have accused Los Angeles officials of declining to prosecute Buck in 2017 thanks to his contributions to powerful politicians such as Hillary Clinton, California Gov. Jerry Brown, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, and numerous West Hollywood City Council members. Cannick is organizing a vigil and rally for tonight in front of Buck’s home, at 1234 Laurel Ave.

fatfreefiddlefaddle

Yeah… this makes him a serial killer by definition

jenniferrpovey

…just wow.

See, white people. This is why many black people won’t give you a pass because you have a sexual relationship with a black person.

It’s possible for racism to be part of that sexual relationship. And in this case, it goes further in a dangerous and predatory way.

I hope they are able to charge this guy with something this time and lock him up. I hope there’s some real solid proof to get him on, ‘cause this guy needs to be off the streets before anyone else dies.

marithlizard

Ugh. The politicians he’s donated to in the last year should return the money and put pressure on the police to investigate and prosecute.

  • will piss off nerds
  • disney owns the kingdom hearts property and not square-enix so nintendo could license it through them completely bypassing square and there isn’t a damn thing square could do about it except stamp their feet and continue to not let midgar have any music
  • the inevitability of there being KH spirits means that mickey mouse and super mario will have appeared in the same product, meeting one of the conditions needed for capitalism to peak and eventually end
  • solid snake can beat the shit out of yoshi while simple and clean plays in the background

Like they got around to closing Gitmo right?

thenonbinaryspacegem

the bill wasnt to fund ICE by itself the bill was to FUND THE GOVERNMENT PERIOD. Like seriously voting no to stop funding the government specifically to stop ICE from being funded is 1. not actually going to deal with the problem of abolishing ICE and 2. Only will continue to harm those who are affected by the shutdown. Like those whos families need the welfare programs that the bill voted to fund??

If we want to abolish ICE you dont do that by just saying ‘hi i vote to stop funding it’ once?? it takes LEGISLATION and WORK. Not just voting on one bill that isnt even focused on the issue at hand.

this is such a bullshit outrage piece and yall keep falling for it. incredible.

Three-quarters of Americans say the government shutdown, now tied for the longest in U.S. history, is “embarrassing for the country,” including a majority of Republicans, a new NPR/Ipsos poll finds.

If no deal is struck by midnight Friday, this partial shutdown will be the longest ever. From late 1995 to early 1996, the government was shut down for 21 days. Friday is the 21st day of this current shutdown. Neither side appears ready to budge, and this polling and others make Democrats feel they have the upper hand.

And they have reason to feel that way — about 7 in 10 in the NPR/Ipsos poll also say the government shutdown is going to hurt the country, that it will hurt the economy and that Congress should pass a bill to reopen the government now while budget talks continue. Just 3 in 10 believe the government should remain closed until there is funding for a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
